Kenya Highlights

Days 1-3: Nairobi & Amboseli National Park

Begin your adventure in Nairobi, where vibrant culture meets urban charm. Transfer to the luxurious Movenpick Hotel. Journey to Amboseli National Park, home to iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the proud Maasai tribe. Experience exhilarating game drives and unwind at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Days 4-5: Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru

Discover the serenity of Lake Naivasha with a tranquil boat ride before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park, a haven for flamingos. Rest and rejuvenate at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Days 6-7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Day 9: Arrival in Entebbe

 Welcome to Entebbe! Transfer to  your designated hotel and rest for the night  and prepare for a journey of community engagement and wildlife exploration.

Days 10-11: Community Projects in Entebbe

Immerse yourself in local communities, participating in meaningful projects at Maama’s Gardens and a nearby school, fostering connections and leaving a positive impact.

Day 12-13: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a sanctuary for diverse wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and unwind at the Katara Lodge. Experience the wonders of the Kazinga Channel with a scenic boat ride, accompanied by morning game drives to witness the park's thriving ecosystem.

Day 14-15 -: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Gorilla Trek in Bwindi

Venture into the depths of Bwindi Buhoma, encountering the indigenous Batwa people and a local herbalist. Find solace at Ride 4 a Woman, Mwebesa House.

Rwanda Highlights

Day 16: Gorilla Guardians Village in Rwanda

Cross borders into Rwanda and visit the Gorilla Guardians Village in Musanze, gaining insight into conservation efforts and local culture. Relax at Davinci Lodge.

Day 17: Optional Activities in Volcanoes National Park

Customize your experience with optional activities such as volcano hikes or golden monkey tracking. Conclude your day in Kigali at Hotel des Milles Collines.

Day 18: Kigali City Tour

Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Kigali with a city tour, visiting poignant memorials and artistic hubs. Transfer to the airport for departure.

Inclusions:

  •  17 nights accommodation

  • Airport transfers as specified in the itinerary on a shared basis

  • Meet and greet service on arrival at Nairobi and Entebbe Airports

  • Meals as specified

  • Activities as specified on a shared basis - subject to change due to weather conditions

  • English-speaking driver /guide and Tour Leader

  • Safari transport in custom 4×4 Safari vehicles (maximum 6-7 people)

  • Game drives in National parks and reserves as per itinerary

  • Park Fees and gorilla trekking permit in Uganda (valued at USD 800).

  • Local flights as indicated (from Nairobi to Entebbe).

  •  International flights, visas, and airport taxes

  • Travel and medical insurance.

  • Items of personal nature (laundry, phone calls etc)

  • Meal and drinks not specified

  • Optional activities, gratuities and tips.

Terms and Conditions

*Price is in Australian dollars Price correct as of 14 February 2024 but may fluctuate due to surcharges, fees, taxes or currency change.

Reservations

To initiate a reservation, a booking form must be completed and submitted. Once the form has been received, a confirmation along with an invoice will be emailed to you by Daventure Tours. The invoice will outline the required initial 30% deposit to be paid within 7 days to confirm your booking. The remaining balance of the tour cost must be settled according to the payment schedule outlined.

  • Final payment of (70%) must be settled 90 days prior to departure.

  • If a booking is made within 90 days before departure then full payment of the total cost of the tour must be received

Deposits

A 30% deposit is required at the time of making a booking. Some tours require higher deposits to meet the tour operators’ booking conditions.

Full payment is required for the Gorilla permit. The purchase of a gorilla trekking permit is non-refundable.

Cancellations and Refunds

Should you need to cancel a reservation, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will take effect from the date of receipt of your written cancellation. A full refund will be made, less incurred costs as follows:

• More than 90 days prior to departure – Loss of 30% deposit

• Between 90 – 30 days prior to departure – 70% of the total trip cost

• Less than 30 days prior to departure – 100% of the total trip cost
