Uganda has a lot to explore from the highest mountains, to the colourful cultures with variety of national parks with plenty of wildlife. This 15 days: Uganda Super Safari offers a life time experience to explore Murchison falls-Semliki-Kibale NP, Queen Elizabeth NP , Gorrila Trek ,  Lake Bunyonyi ,  Mburo NP – Jinja Bujjagali Falls and Kampala City Tour. Itinerary - 15 days Uganda Super Safari

Day 1: ARRIVAL – Airport pick and Kampala City Tour

You will be met by your designated driver at Entebbe airport and you will be transferred  to your allocated hotel in Kampala, depending on the time of arrival. If your flight arrives in the morning, you are advised to change your money into Ugandan Shillings for use on your safari.

You can then make urban trips to some of Kampala's historical sites with the help of our driver/guide. Place to visit Kasubi Tombs, Wamala tombs  to be refreshed with the history of Buganda Kingdom.  Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Museums and craft shops around town.

Day 2: KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS – the jewel of Uganda’s game parks

You will head to Murchison Falls National Park from Kampala, take a luncheon at Masindi town then proceed to the magnificent falls. So extraordinary! Be amazed at the stunning robust of river Nile. Murchison Falls is farfetched into a seven-meter abyss to rumble 45 meters below. Check the series of the drop it forms, which can be viewed at different angels.

Day 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Wake up early morning for breakfast, set for a half-day game drive on the northern Bank of River Nile. The choice is yours to either make a game walk to track animals and study there spoors. Get your eyes peeled on a variety of wildlife such as;  Rothschild Giraffe, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Lions, Waterbucks and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. After lunch, at 14:00 hrs, launch on a Nile boat cruise to view water animals at close proximity. This is a unique encounter with a paradise of hippos and Nile crocodiles, among other animals.

Day 4: MURCHISON FALLS - FORT PORTAL

Depart Murchison Falls after an early breakfast. Head to Fort Portal, the vicinity of Semliki & Kibale Forest National Parks. The drive is approximately 10 hours.

Dinner and overnight Ndali Lodge or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House FB.

Day 5: FORT PORTAL - SEMLIKI - FORT PORTAL – CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Depart early after breakfast for the crown and hot springs.  Experience the colourful cultures of the region by visiting the pygmy villages located in Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an fascinating cultural experience. The guide will carry packed lunch for the trip and will be served at a picnic while you experience TRUE AFRICA. Later in the afternoon you return to Fort Portal arriving in the evening.

Day 6: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Have  breakfast early morning. Depart for Kibale Forest National Park, this park in known for its exceptional diversity and highest population of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of hot springs. Get your eyes peeled on black white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, different species of butterflies and many more.  Have a luncheon, then head to the crater lake region and view the various Crater Lakes of the park.  Enjoy Bigodi swamp walks in the evening.

Day 7: KIBALE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – Home of tree climbing lions

Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we will take on a morning drive in search of wild game.  Enjoy the stunning panoramic views  of  Lakes Edward and George and the great Kazinga channel that joins both lakes. Visit the Institute of Ecology. On this drive you may spot various wildlife. A buffet lunch is organized at Tembo Restaurant. At either 15.00 or 17.00 hrs we take a boat -cruise along Kazinga Channel. Expect spectacular bird life both tropical and migrants and the highest concentration of hippos in Africa.  Encounter the fresh water crocodiles, as well as other wild animal having a drink.

Day 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Early in the morning after breakfast at Mweya safari lodge take a walk to the ground of the Uganda Kob. Then head for a game drive in search for lions, elephants, buffaloes etc. before returning for lunch. We will have a short break then head for the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close look at bats, rock python and forest cobras. The same walk will provide a chance  to see some  bird life, primates and other tree species.

Day 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI

After breakfast, we head for the grasslands exploring  an amazing gorge of 100 meters deep formed in the  tropical rainforest. Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an extraordinary experience hiking chimpanzees and other primates. Explorer  the ravishing river valley home of numerous birds and butterfly species. Packed  lunch for  drive to Bwindi.

Day 10: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

We head to the national park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers who will guide you on your gorilla trek. Mountain gorillas are the largest of the great apes and they live in families of 10 to 30 members.

You will trek to one of the eight families living in the park through thick bamboo forest. When you first sight a troop it is common for an alpha male silverback to beat his chest at your group as a warning. Gorillas pass their time eating, playing and interacting. You will have an intimate one hour with these amazing apes. Spending time with Gorillas in their natural habitat is one of world’s greatest wildlife experiences.

Day 11: BWINDI - LAKE BUNYONYI

Participants can opt to have a guided nature walk in Bwindi. This decision should be based on whether they should use the village trial or one of the five trails. After a Lunch break, we depart for Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 12: LAKE BUNYONYI (lake of little birds)

Not denying the inevitable tiring  day at Bwindi,  you can now relax at the shores of the peaceful lake Bunyonyi (island of little birds).  You will have a choice from various tour activities. You can choose to go birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing.

Day 13: LAKE BUNYONYI - LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Wake up very earliest then head for drive  to Lake Mburo National Park. A game drive on the day  will enable us to see zebras, topes, elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes antelopes , etc.

Dinner and overnight at Mantana luxury tented camp or Mburo Safari Lodge FB.

Day 14: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA - JINJA

After breakfast, we head back Kampala the capital city, then proceed to explore the township of Jinja. At Jinja we will explore the Source of River Nile, Bujagali Falls and a number of fishing villages.

DAY 15: CITY TOUR (DEPENDING ON FLIGHT TIME) AND DEPARTURE

Have breakfast, head for a partial city tour and later go shopping for souvenirs at craft shops. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

Note should be taken that we have got two types of Safaris, Some opt for Luxury Safari (lodges / hotels) and others opt for Budget Safaris (camping and simple accommodation).Our rates vary with the accommodation type, nevertheless the rest of the activities will remain the same
